Have you ever gone into a dressing room to dry on clothes and a few minutes later discover that your skin is irritated? After further investigation it turned out I had a temporary reaction to the chemicals/handling of the clothes once it directly hit my skin. That being said I recommend that new clothes be washed before anyone wears them, especially if the clothing will be in direct contact with the skin. Chemicals such as Formaldehyde may have been sprayed onto the clothes to keep them fresh and prevent the growth of certain bacteria.
